1 -Sunrise or sunset horse or
camel Ride In the early morning, take a horse or camel journey into the desert and watch first light reveal the ancient Sphinx and Pyramids. This trip of approximately two hours will delight those who appreciate the magnificent wonder of the Pyramids. Alternatively, the same trip can be taken at sunset, which is an equally impressive time of day to experience this breathtaking sight. 2- Evening sailing trip on the Nile Take a relaxing ride down the sparkling waters of the Nile on a felucca, a traditional Egyptian sailing boat, and see a different side of Cairo. This 1-hour trip gives you plenty of time to experience this unique mode of transport. Your trip also includes all transfers. 3- The Pharaonic Village Take a step back in time; about three thousand years back, to be exact. Just a few miles from the center of Cairo is a time machine waiting to take you on a fantastic journey to the days of the Pharaohs, a time brought to life by an incredible group of actors and actresses and faithful and exact reproductions of buildings, clothing, and lifestyles. 4- Manial Palace and the Cairo Tower First a visit to the Manial Palace (Crown Prince Mohamed Ali's Oriental Palace) on Rodah Island, where a fine collection of Arab art and mosaics can be admired.See the magnificent reception rooms, the gardens, the private museum, and the beautiful mosque. The duration of the visit is around two hours. Then go by car to the Cairo Tower (height 600 ft.) on Guezireh Island to enjoy a panoramic view of Cairo. 5- Tanis and the Suez Canal area Depart from Cairo by car in the early morning for San el Hagar (Tanis) the delta capital of Ramses II. The drive is via the agricultural road passing through a small town called Zagazig and the site of Bubastis where the cat was worshiped in ancient times. Visit the ruins of Tanis, and then proceed to Ismailia on the Suez Canal for lunch. Return to Cairo by the desert road. N.B. For the visit to Bubastis and Tanis, special permission must be obtained from the Department of Antiquities in Cairo. 6- Cruise Dinner with show A magnificent evening excursion by boat along the Nile river bank with spectacular views. There is an open buffet dinner with entertainment in the form of belly-dancing and an Oriental music band . |
